As the time approached when my two kids would be going off to school, I faced the same predicament as so many moms…"what will I do with my time?" I was offered a position with a fabulous retail yoga company that sounded perfect for me but with the kids school schedules I couldn't come up with the minimum hours needed. While trying to make a decision about my new direction I took a necklace into a local bead shop to have it restrung. While I waited, I put together a pair of earrings. I gave that pair of earrings to a friend for a birthday gift and soon received three requests to duplicate the pair for other friends. It was shortly after that when my husband suggested that I try to make a go of the "jewelry thing." The rest as they say is history.

 

I dedicated that first design to my friend whose birthday inspired me and aptly named the earrings the "Laurie's". I quickly learned that all of my friends would inspire in me a unique and individual design. I set out to create necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings that personified the women in my life. My "Circle of Friends" led me to this passion and I am fortunate to have found and realized a dream. Since then the "Circle" has continued to grow, I could have never dreamed I would be so lucky to have been inspired by so many "Friends". 

 

I thoroughly enjoy the process of hearing your ideas and creating custom pieces through your visions. Wedding and special occasion jewelry are two of my favorites to create and offer that "one of a kind" feel for your special event. I now include some of the custom pieces requested by friends in my collection and have named the pieces in their honor. In most cases, all of my original designs can be altered with a variety of different stones, settings and metals. Unless indicated otherwise my designs use gold filled or sterling silver metals and gemstones found from the all over the world: turquoise, magnesite, labradorite, jasper, garnet, citrine and the list goes on and on. My mission and my passion are to create fashionable, good quality and distinctive jewelry. Just like each of my "Friends", every piece I create is individually unique!
